What You’ll Be Doing

- All aspects of credit control for service charges, rent and/or utilities recharges in accordance with debt collection procedure for all England & Wales managed properties
- Agree payment terms for tenant arrears, within the set business guidelines
- Ensure the database is kept up to date with notes of all customer communication in relation to debt chasing
- Work effectively with internal departments to assist with customer queries
- Ensure that all customer communications are responded to appropriately and in line with internal KPIs
- Review accounts during each step of the credit control process to ensure all queries are closed prior instructing solicitors
- Work as part of a team on all general administration of the credit control & accounts shared inbox
- Communicate and build relationships with property managers & support them with debt reporting & meetings with Clients.
What You Need to Succeed
- Proficient IT user, able to use MS packages as well as a range of internal systems
- Experience of working in a similar role is essential
- Experienced with Qube or similar package is advantageous
